When they shake hands / The bells will ring Poetry: Giannis Ritsos from Romiosyni Music: Mikis Theodorakis Live recording from a concert of solidarity to Serbia against NATO's attacks given at Syntagma Square, Athens. Reminds times when Theodorakis led the people to the streets whith his music. Poor thing, he makes an error in the transition from one song to the other and atributes that to old age. He was about 80 then. When they shake hands, the sun is certain for the world When they smile, a small swallow comes out of their wild beard When they are killed, life continues up the hill with flags and drums |
